For all workstations (Server and Client), in case of license purchase:
Once installed you should proceed with the insertion of activation keys for each workstation in use, if you have purchased some license. During insertion of the activation keys you have to specify a "terminal ID" that is a number between 1 and 255 that must be different for each workstation.
Ready Pro, shows the last digit of the IP address of the workstation, but it's possible to change it whenever you want to.
The activation keys are required only on the active workstations, so if the server is only a dataserver that none will use as a workstation, an activation key is not required on it.
Software update:
- Close Ready Pro on all workstations (Server and Clients);
- Download (http://www.readypro.com/download-inventory-software.aspx) and install the update software on all workstations (Server and Clients);
- Run Ready Pro updated and open the archive form one of the workstations.
- Maybe the upgrade requires that the archive has to be updated, so confirm this update. Ready Pro will create a backup archive before doing it. During this operation on all the other workstations Ready Pro must remain CLOSED and should not be opened.
- At the end of the updating procedure, all the workstations can work normally.
